While looking for things to do and see in Cambodia's capital city Phnom Penh, I came across a sunset river cruise. The company Memorable river cruise, http://www.memorablecambodia.com/, caught my eye.

The company is run by tourism graduates from the near by university and has been in operation since 2013. It was one of the few locally owned and operated cruising companies I could find.

The tour cost (at the time) $15usd, this included a one way pick up from our hotel to the boat dock, unlimited beer or soft drinks and a fruit plate. The evening of out tour there were only 2 couples on the tour, it was a very relaxing experience.

At the moment Phnom Penh is a very low rise capital compared to most Asian capital cities. This will change soon, everywhere there are cranes and new building going up.

On the opposite side of the river there are many stilt houses built over or right on the river.

The cruise lasted around one and a half to two hours, it was just the right amount of time to experience both sides of the river. we arrived back into the boat dock around 1830, just in time for a short walk to our hotel, shower and out for dinner.
